Some kind words from guests who have stayed in Heale Farm Cottage.
- Christine 15/04/2023We had a fantastic stay at Heale Farm Cottage. The area is absolutely stunning and very peaceful. The cottage has everything needed for a home from home stay and we particularly enjoyed the cosy feel of the log burner. There are many local places to explore and the information left in the cottage is very useful. We found our way to Hunters Inn and had a lovely meal. They are great hosts, very easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed for a perfect break. Thank you. Would definitely recommend and would love to return again.read moreread less
- Adam 18/02/2023A fabulous place to stay in a beautifuk location. Our 2 boys said they had the best holiday ever!!! We were also belssed with some lovely weather for February!!!
We walked to the Hunters Inn and then down to the beach and back, which is a day out in itself. Be prepared for the hike back up the hill though!!! Really friendly pub. A great location near lots of things for us as a family and the children to do, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A really good break all round. Some excellent local places to eat and drink and a great local shop too.
We would recommend Heale Farm to anyone without a second thought. P.S. the welcome fudge was simply delightful, so we hunted out the shop in Lynton on a day out especially to get some more!read moreread less - Samantha 29/12/2022We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity that Heale Farm Cottage afforded us as a family. The cottage was beautiful, well presented in every detail, with a home-from-home feeling.
The hosts were perfect, making our stay even more special. We would highly recommend this property and its hosts.read moreread less - Mat 30/10/2022Heale Farm Cottage is a beautiful spot to explore north Devon. The Cottage is tucked away in a valley heading towards the north Devon coast. There are fantastic walks straight from the Farm. The Cottage is perfect for any time of year. We loved being able to hunker down next to the fire after a day out on the moors or on the coast. highly recommended.read moreread less
- Katie 27/08/2022We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is spotless and very warm and comfortable. Incredible quiet location with beautiful view of the Heather covered moors. We travelled from here to beautiful beaches and went wild swimming on Exmoor. A great spot for a very quiet retreat in the English county side.read moreread less
- Tracey 10/07/2022Perfect cottage in a perfect location/setting. Absolutely loved the place ❤. Would definitely come back for longer - great base to explore this beautiful part of Devon and lovely walk to Heddon's Mouth from the cottage door (only slight problem we encountered was the closed bridge to access Hunter's Inn but just a slight detour and we stopped for a drink on the way back). Would also reccomend Hunter's Inn for a meal - great food.read moreread less
- Jean 23/05/2022Loved our stay at Heale Farm cottage. Really peaceful spot, fabulous for walking right from the cottage . Lovely round trip to Heddon mouth and back . Lovely secure garden , nuthatch nest in the wall, busy parents feeding the chicks . Certainly recommend for those who love the countryside of Exmoor and the coastal walks .read moreread less
- Lois 13/05/2022We had a great week at this beautiful cottage surrounded by countryside. It was so peaceful, all you could hear was the lovely sound of the animals. Dog friendly which is great. It has a nice little enclosed garden which has sun most of the day and there are walks from the cottage (very hilly). I strongly advice to take food, get a food delivery or order from the pantry as there are no shops within 7 miles. The hosts leave you tea and coffee which is helpful, there are plenty of cooking facilities and we were given fudge on arrival. The beds were very comfortable, especially the pillows and the shower was so powerful I didn't want to get out! Would highly recommend staying here!read moreread less
- Amelia 22/04/2022We absolutely loved Heale Farm. It’s a great location if you want a real escape. I enjoyed having my coffee outside in the morning with just the sound of the birds and the animals. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and felt very spacious for the three of us. We also loved being able to walk down through the woods to the sea. Thanks so much for having us, we’d love to come back some time!read moreread less
- Tai 11/10/2021Myself, my husband and infant daughter stayed in early October and had a wonderful stay. The cottage itself is perfect, clean and very well equipped. The welcome confectionary left in the fridge (thank you) was a sweet touch by the hosts and we really loved the wood burner which made for really cosy and relaxing evenings. In terms of check-in, this was made simple and our hosts were accommodating, warm and welcoming. There is also a lot of thoughtful information left in the property, which we found helpful. When I let them know that we had left our daughter's cuddly toy behind, it was found, packaged and sent to us in record time! It was very kind of our hosts to take the time to return the toys to us. We met Dan who was present and friendly throughout our stay. Dan really took the time to show us around the farm and it was a pleasure conversing with him. We would definitely recommend this stunning accommodation and its idyllic surroundings to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a lovely escape. Tai and Emmanuel.read moreread less
