Some kind words from our guests
- Adam 21/04/2025Beautiful stay, in a truly idilic setting – it is peaceful and private but equally well connected to access beautiful walks across the moors. There’s a great walk through the farm down to the hunters inn that we discovered on the first night, highly recommend.
Very clean and tidy, that is super cozy and comfortable. Felt like a home immediately.read moreread less - Karen 21/02/2025Very cosy and comfortable in beautiful surroundings. We’ve had a great week with our dog in this wonderful place. Despite the very cold weather at the start of the week the log burner was ready to light for us and we were soon really snug and relaxed in such beautiful and quiet surroundings.
Lovely watching the wildlife and farm animals from the window and the stars at night. Lots of great walks from the door and we loved the walk to Heddon Mouth and a drink in the Hunters Inn, a very dog friendly pub. Jen and Ed quickly responded to any questions but we felt very private and snug. Would definitely visit again.read moreread less - Robyn 11/02/2025My partner and I had a lovely weekend break at the Roundhouse. It’s the perfect location for a peaceful and cosy get-away, with lots of scenic walks and local pubs nearby.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings by the fire, as well as some local hikes. Jenny was very responsive, and left some lovely personal touches for our stay. We thoroughly recommend. 😊read moreread less - Flora 02/01/2025This was a great bolthole to hunker down in surrounded by beautiful countryside while we marked a family birthday and saw in the new year. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and peaceful – it was a lovely, relaxing trip. Everything is as described. Jenny and Ed were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Fresh eggs from the farm and welcome treats were delicious! They gave us some great tips for things to do in the local area and were prompt answering any queries we had. Lynton and Lynmouth and the steam railway are all very close by and well worth a visit. We hope to return again!read moreread less
- Richard 23/11/2024A brilliant last minute stay at Jennifer’s beautifully converted property. This place has everything you need, well stocked kitchen, comfortable living area and super comfy bed.
The wood burner is perfect for the cold evenings.
WiFi works fine within the property, the setting is secluded but close to enough local areas to explore.
Plenty of excellent information on local walks, with some really good pubs / restaurants close by.
We can’t wait to stay again!read moreread less - Maude 27/05/2024We had a fabulous stay at Heale Farm Cottage. Jenny made our family so welcome and the little extras when travelling with children made all the difference. The location is beautiful and there is so much to do nearby.
